“It starts with a girl,
supported by family,
connected with friends,
growing towards self,
who becomes a student,
enlightened by teachers,
shaped by cultures,
inspired by classmates,
who becomes a woman,
entering the world,
leading others,
influencing many.”

We like the ideas expressed by the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul:

College of St. Catherine’s Sociology Department
One of many college degree programs that
police officers find useful. Most Minnesota colleges have sociology, criminology, law enforcement, and psychology courses that greatly benefit the work police officers do.
